As you may all know our Little French Cafe in Mount Albert was flooded beyond recognition along with many other properties across Auckland on Monday 27th January. With 45cm high of water, silt and damage to not only equipment but the actual foundation of the building we were forced to shut shop. We have been luckier than most in that our staff and damage are covered by insurance and at this stage we are aiming to re-open this Mother’s Day on the 8th of May, but we will keep you updated on our progress as it is no easy feat. We will take this time to interact with you on different platforms from shared recipes and tips on social media to participating in some local events and markets to continue to connect with our community. We have been humbled by the support and kindness from the Mt Albert community, friends and staff. We are staying positive and our team is working hard to be ready to re-open and see you all again.We are very proud to be a part of this community.
