You'll receive our beef wellington served as 800g of medium rare beef fillet with dijon mustard, a flavorful blend of mushroom and port duxelles, Italian prosciutto, wrapped in our delicious puff pastry.
Along with our beef wellington, you'll also receive easy instructions on how to get it table ready. It will arrive to you frozen and is best kept in the freezer until your Christmas event.
Cooking Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 230° c
Remove the Wellington from the plastic, and let the pastry thaw for at least 30 min .
Place your Wellington on a baking paper lined tray and cook at 230° for 23 minutes.
rotate your Wellington and cook at 230 for a further 23 minutes
Note, if your Wellington is browning too quickly reduce the oven temperature to 175°C
After 46 minutes
Open the oven door for 5 min to reduce the oven temperature and reset your oven to minimum (65 °C or 80°C).
After 5 minutes
Close the door and let the meat continue to heat through for another 55 minutes at reduced temperature above
Pull the wellington out and let it rest for another 15 minutes
It’s ready to carve
For best results cut with a serrated knife, serve with a our Grain Mustard and a Bordeaux Blend or Cote du Rhone
